SKILL SNACKS
Skill
/skil/
noun
noun: skill
the ability to do something well; expertise.
Snack
/snak/
noun
plural noun: snacks
1.
a small amount of food eaten between meals.
Every one has heard the expression to "sharpen the saw" in reference to improving upon your own work skills. Well think of "Skill Snacks" as nothing but small opportunities to sharpen your own saw but delivered in small doses or what we like to call, "Skill Snacks".
This library of Skill Snacks are yours to use complimentary from CEO Chef to keep your work and interpersonal skills sharpened in order to be the best leader that you can be within the best team that you can become.
You can watch these "Skill Snacks" in any order that you prefer though there are a couple of Skill Snacks that are best "devoured" in groups of 2 or 3 like the Active Listening skills being a three part series.
My suggestion is to get the maximum benefit from each new skill is to pick a "Skill Snack" theme for a week and watch that one skill every day from the beginning of the week until the end of the week. This learning strategy is call "Spaced Repetition" and is the same way that we learned our multiplication tables when we were young. So pick a weekly theme and through Spaced Repetition, you'll not just know the material, you'll begin the mastery of it too. Oh, and if there are suggestions to apply and practice this new skill, this will make this skill a part of you like having a new valuable tool in your toolbox of skills.
