CEO Chef Announces New Team Building Packages

July 19, 2016 – Los Angeles – American companies spend thousands of dollars every year on team building activities. The purpose of the activities is to facilitate communication, cooperation, and creativity; however, these efforts often fail when the activities do not resonate with employees. CEO Chef is a radical approach to team building that supplies companies with activities that engage employees and get them excited.
CEO Chef began in the mid-1990s, providing team building packages to Silicon Valley giants. By 1996, the company was focused on “Team Cuisine” which led to a rebranding of the company as CEO Chef in 2007.
The concept of the new company packages is simple: offer a keynote and team building combo that teaches employees skills they can use at home. When employees can see the applicability of the lessons they learn in their private lives, they become more engaged and attentive than if the activity is solely about building business skills.
The new team building packages include several options, such as:
  • Gratitude & Giving: The keynote address, “Leading with Gratitude” reminds employees of the importance of showing thanks and recognition in the workplace. In the team building activity, employees learn how to cook healthy meals that they then serve or give to a local charity.
  • 212°F Effect: In this package, the keynote address discusses how a small difference in temperature is all that separates water from boiling water, and the impact of small decisions in life. The activity fosters creativity with an Iron Chef style competition that rewards risk taking and exploration.
  • Cutting Down the Net: This program follows the story of Jimmy Valvano and how a significant underdog won the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Employees learn the value of strategic vision, planning ahead, and keeping their eyes on their goal. The event concludes with a large, multicultural buffet that shows the power of teamwork and unity.
CEO Chef has keynote and team building combos for groups of all sizes, and provides everything a company needs to organize and host a team building activity. Contact CEO Chef today!
