There are lots of great tools to help you in business or in building teams. The one that I find influences and inspires the most is a gratitude journal.
Gratitude is the single most important element that all great leaders have in common, being in gratitude. Like reading your affirmations, your purpose and your mission; your gratitude journal puts you in the right mindset for the day. The energy that is put out when you are in gratitude is a powerful vibration that communicates to yourself and outside of you that you are ready to accept more of what you are in gratitude for.

It also sets the tone of your mindset for the day that the glass is half filled instead of half empty. It trains your perspective to look for opportunities in every situation. Bottom line, being thankful for your blessings is a great feeling to start your day.
So if you’re in gratitude to how your wife or husband looks at you, guess what, that’s what you get more of and that’s what you focus on. Some gratitude questions that you may want to answer are:
  • What am I in gratitude about my family?
  • What am I thankful about my customers and clients?
  • What do I appreciate about my day?
  • What is so special about my team?
  • What is so special about this day?
  • What did my team accomplish toward our project that makes me thankful?
  • What am I grateful for in my work?

This sales and achievement tools doesn't do or mean anything if you don’t include one very important part, and that is to believe. Belief is the foundation of achievement and success.
But because we are human and therefore we doubt, this tool is necessary. When we let doubt into our psyche, it kills our belief. Doubt dwells in the past, like, I couldn’t make quota the last two times, what makes you think you’ll make quota now? No, we need to stay in the present, the now. This is where belief lives, in the present. Belief does not compare itself to anything. It just exists in the now.
So the past in a memory, the future is a mystery but today is a gift, why do you think they call it the PRESENT!
