Discovering the A-ha! Moment
The A-ha! moment is classified as that moment when the lessons presented are finally understood on a deeper, long term level. Reaching this level of understanding is difficult to plan as each individual perceives information differently. However, we have learned that the discovery aspect often comes during the debriefing session after the team building program has been completed. When the presenter questions the group, the brain is able to forge stronger connections, often leading to that A-ha! moment. Our coaching sessions also often prompt the discovery.
Spaced Repetition Repeats and Reinforces Learned Information
Repetition has long been held as one of the best ways to learn new information. It's how we learned our ABC's in Kindergarten, and it is how leadership and team building programs enforce necessary skills to improve productivity, problem solving, and leadership.
